COOPERATIVE OZON

'OZON' is a working company of EREF Site de Proximité. It is a cooperative that provides an umbrella function for fledgling (micro) entreprises. If you choose to take part in the cooperative you can count on continuous guidance, notably in terms of administrative matters & on the job training during a specified timespan. Of course, there is a (small) price to be paid when being a member of the cooperative.

EREF - Site de Proximité

EREF is basically a locally funded employment-stimulation office. It offers concrete & highly informed assistance in determining a suitable formula to enter the labour market. In the case of an artist this will mostly be in the form of creating a micro-enterprise, the key to becoming acknowledged in view of notably the tax department, primary health care insurance, and URSSAF (the state agent at department level that governs employment & social welfare).

The 'Green Pages' data base contains addresses and possibilities to contact services and businesses that are useful to the immigrant artist that tries to settle in the area. The development of this data base is a direct response to the many questions we've encountered during the one year existence of the PartageArt Association, notably with regard to issues like acquiring an acknowledged professional status as a practising artist. Having such status, it is much easier to for example enter the French health care system. Essentially, here, we talk about facilitating the immigrant integrating into an adopted country.
